With over 38 years of extensive experience in the mining and metals industry, Mr. Richards is an accomplished mining executive with a proven track record in operational management, project development, construction, and corporate business development.
Mr. Richards has held several CEO roles and currently serves as a director on the boards of Nickel 28 Capital Corp., Goldshore Resources Inc. and Midnight Sun Mining. Throughout his career, Mr. Richards has demonstrated exceptional leadership in driving transformational change, leading mergers and acquisitions, and excelling in mine financing and development, particularly in Africa.
Mr. Tasker has a very good understanding of the value chain in mining having worked for several years in various African countries (Democratic Republic of Congo, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Ivory Coast and Tanzania), as well as London. He is a South African Accountant with 28 years of mining finance experience with various listed companies including Namdeb Diamond Corp, De Beers, Central African Gold plc, ENRC plc, ArcelorMittal, Endeavour and AngloGold Ashanti.
His career experience spans the corporate world, regional offices and various mine sites. Mr. Tasker holds a B.Com. degree as well as various law & tax diplomas and management development programmes.
Dr Ngcobo is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the Mining, Mineral Trading and community development expert in the mining industry. He worked for Anglo American for 24 years of which 10 of those years was spent in De Beers Consolidated Mines as Head of Corporate Affairs. He is the Executive Chairman and Founder of Fanosi Holdings, an investment company. He is a former chairman of the Board of Richards Bay Industrial Development Zone, KwaZulu Natal Gaming and Betting Board; and Chairman Moses Kotane Institute.
He is the co-author of Anglo American Socio- Economic Impact Assessment Toolbox (SEAT) which has been rolled out in all Anglo American operations globally. He holds a PhD from Wits Business School specializing in mining business reputation management. He holds Master’s degree in Rural Resource Development from University of KwaZulu Natal. He also holds a B Tech in Agriculture and Diploma in Earth Sciences (Agriculture).
